These images were taken while on my last trip to New York City. Though I only had four days in the city I was able to capitalize on every moment. As a result of my efforts I was in position for every sunrise and was able to leave New York with twelve stunning compositions. I consider these images to be rough drafts and plan to continue processing them to a finished state. Once I have them dialed I will use them to approach various New York galleries about a show.
- This might be my favorite image form this trip. Taken from the east side of the Brooklyn Bridge. I especially like the way the bridge wraps around the city.
- View of southern Manhattan and Brooklyn.
- Even though no tripods were not allowed on the Top of Rockefeller Center I was able to get this panorama through sheer brut force. North facing view.
- Sunrise from a recently redeveloped park at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge.
- Night view of southern Manhattan taken from Brooklyn Heights.
- In this image you can see the entire New York Harbor. On the left is Jersey City, Manhattan in the center and Brooklyn on the right.
- Even though no tripods were not allowed on the Top of Rockefeller Center I was able to get this panorama through sheer brut force. This is the south facing view.
- Taken from a bridge span crossing the Newtown Creek at sunrise.
- Taken form the Long Island City shore looking at midtown Manhattan, across from the U.N.
- This image was taken from the Calvary Cemetery. Although it was a long walk on bruised and battered feet it was the last shot on my list and worth every painful step.
- This image was captured from the center of the brooklyn bridge. It is the first composition I have come across in which I was able to shoot a 360 degree view.
